Accessibility Statement
Our commitment to a website that everyone can use.
Last updated: September 2026
1. Commitment
BlueVacation is committed to keeping its website usable by people with disabilities and by every visitor, whatever device or assistive technology they use.
2. Conformance standard
This website was built to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) version 2.2, level AA, and to the European standard EN 301 549.
We declare substantial conformance. No independent third-party audit has been carried out.
3. Legal framework
This statement is made in the context of Directive (EU) 2019/882 on the accessibility requirements for products and services (the European Accessibility Act), transposed into Greek law by Law 4994/2022 (Government Gazette A 215, 18 November 2022) and applicable since 28 June 2025.
4. Measures taken
- Semantic HTML with a correct heading hierarchy and landmark regions.
- A skip link to the main content at the start of every page.
- Full keyboard navigation with a clearly visible focus indicator on every control.
- Colour contrast meeting level AA in both the light and the dark theme.
- Automatic dark theme following the operating system setting.
- Full respect for
prefers-reduced-motion: all motion is disabled for anyone who has reduced it. - Alternative text on every meaningful image, and an empty
alton decorative ones. - Text reflows without horizontal scrolling at phone width and at 200% zoom.
- A declared language on every page, with Greek and English versions cross-referenced.
- Layouts that never rely on colour alone to convey information.
- A print stylesheet, so the content is legible on paper too.
5. Known limitations
- Embedded map. The Google Map is provided by a third party and we do not control its accessibility. For that reason the address of our registered office is always given as text alongside the map, and the map does not load at all unless you ask for it.
- External websites. The websites of the individual divisions have their own technical infrastructure and are not covered by this statement.
6. Feedback and complaints
If you come across a barrier, please tell us so we can fix it. Describe the page and the problem:
